Traveling light (and with purpose): my experience representing Greener at COP30

Viajar ligero (y con propósito): mi experiencia representando a Greener en la COP30

Traveling for work is always a small challenge: you have to take care of your image, your comfort and, if possible, travel light.

When I found out I was going to represent Greener at the UN COP30 in Brazil , I knew I wanted my suitcase to reflect what we stand for every day: simple elegance, functionality and consistency.

The art of carrying only what is necessary

I packed only what was absolutely necessary:

👖 Two comfortable yet well-structured long trousers: Morus and Swertia

👕 Four t-shirts — two Calendula and two Silene , soft, breathable and perfect for both meetings and walks under the tropical sun.

🧥 The Nicandra jacket, my must-have for airports, conference rooms or impromptu dinners.

👟 Versatile sneakers.

Whether at the airport, exploring the city, or at the conference, I felt comfortable in what I was wearing and didn't have to worry about adjusting my look in the bathroom in front of the mirror, or about wrinkles or anything like that 😄

🧳 And a duffel bag where everything fit perfectly. This bag was the unexpected highlight of the trip. During the layover, I could run from one flight to another with complete ease , and when they forced carry-on luggage to be checked, mine—being a duffel bag—went through without a problem. I was spared worries and the possibility of losing my belongings.

🎒 A backpack for my laptop and other essentials. It was perfect ; I was constantly running around, but because it's padded and very sturdy, my laptop stayed perfectly safe inside the whole time.

Simple elegance, real comfort

During the day I needed clothes that gave me presence without losing lightness.
In the afternoon, I wanted to be able to relax while still feeling well dressed.

And that's where I understood something we often forget: It's not about carrying more, but carrying it better.

Each garment had a purpose.
Every combination worked.
Nothing was superfluous, nothing was lacking.

Traveling light allowed me to enjoy the trip calmly, feel comfortable in any environment, and demonstrate that sustainable fashion is also functional and elegant .

The essentials are enough

Sustainable fashion is not just about materials or processes.
It also involves consciously choosing what accompanies us —in our suitcase, in our wardrobe, and in life.

This trip was the perfect proof that, when you choose well, the essentials are always enough .
