Business travel is always a bit of a challenge: you have to look the part, stay comfortable and, if possible, travel light.
When I found out I was going to represent Greener at the UN COP30 in Brazil, I knew my suitcase should reflect the same values we stand for every day: understated elegance, functionality and consistency.
The art of packing only what you need
I packed just enough:
👖 Two pairs of trousers, comfortable but well-structured: Morus and Swertia
👕 Four T-shirts—two Caléndula and two Silene, soft, breathable and perfect for both meetings and strolls in the tropical sun.
🧥 The Nicandra jacket, my must-have for airports, conference rooms or impromptu dinners.
👟 A versatile pair of trainers.
Whether at the airport, exploring the city or at the conference, I felt comfortable in what I was wearing and didn't have to worry about fixing my look in the bathroom mirror or dealing with creases or anything like that 😄
🧳 And a duffle bag where everything fit perfectly. This bag was the unexpected highlight of the trip. During my layover, I was able to run from one flight to another in complete comfort, and when they required carry-on bags to be checked in, mine—being a bag—went through without any problems. I was spared the worry and the risk of losing it.
🎒 A backpack for my laptop and essentials. It was perfect; I was constantly rushing from one place to another, but because it is padded and very durable, my laptop remained perfectly safe throughout.
Understated elegance, real comfort
During the day, I needed clothes that made me feel confident without compromising on lightness.
In the evening, I wanted to be able to relax while still feeling well-dressed.
And that was when I understood something we often forget: It's not about carrying more, but carrying better.
Every garment had a purpose.
Every combination worked.
Nothing was superfluous, nothing was missing.
Traveling light allowed me to enjoy the trip at a relaxed pace, feel comfortable in any setting and show that sustainable fashion can also be functional and elegant.
The essentials are enough
